STAQ Pharmacy Services (STAQ Rx) is a newly launched division of STAQ Pharma, a nationally recognized 503B outsourcing facility serving over 650 hospitals across the U.S. Known for industry-leading quality systems and strong FDA track record, STAQ Pharma is now expanding into patient-specific ophthalmology compounding through STAQ Rx.
This is not a typical pharmacy role. This is an opportunity to help build a business from the ground up—inside an organization that already has scale, credibility, and momentum.
The Opportunity
We are hiring a highly motivated Pharmacist to play a key role in launching and scaling a 503A sterile ophthalmology compounding operation in Columbus, Ohio.
This role goes far beyond dispensing.
You will be directly involved in:
- Building workflows and operational infrastructure
- Supporting new product development and formulations
- Establishing best-in-class quality and compliance systems
- Helping shape the future direction of the business
Core Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee sterile compounding in compliance with USP <795>, <797>, <800>
- Verify prescriptions and ensure dispensing accuracy
- Ensure quality and sterility of compounded preparations
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and staff
- Maintain regulatory compliance and inspection readiness
Build & Scale Responsibilities
- Design and refine workflows, SOPs, and processes
- Participate in R&D and formulation development
- Collaborate with leadership on quality and efficiency improvements
- Support inventory and production scaling

Qualifications
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license
- PharmD required
- 4+years experience(compounding preferred)
- Knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, <800>
- Sterile compounding and cleanroom experience
